It’s great to be a part of a project that can really make a difference in the lives of the people that need the most help. Swimserve.com is a mobilizing platform for college students ready to solve the world’s water problems. Find templates, tools, projects, stories, ideas, networking, and eventually do a project yourself virtually anywhere in the world.

This is a site that will be very dynamic, so keep checking in for changes…and feel free to donate tons of money to one of the most important causes of our day.

Did you know that every eight seconds a child dies from water-borne disease and 1 billion people around the world don’t have access to safe drinking water (UNICEF).

Over the past couple of years, I’ve developed a passion for water purification and have teamed up with EDGE Outreach and Mark’s Feed Store to start to make a difference. I thought it would be a good idea if restaurants sold bottles of water and gave some of the money back to EDGE to help put a dent in this massive problem. So, I gave Mark’s a call to see if they would be interested and they jumped at the chance to help. This is the first of hopefully many more restaurant chains to come.

We designed the label for the bottle and are creating table tents to get the word out. If you live near a Mark’s, go in for a visit and buy a few hundred bottles. Thanks in advance for your support.

We’ve just launched two new websites for a couple of great clients.

The first one being sojournmusic.com. This site is designed to highlight new songs for worship, rich in Christian theology; Contemporary hymns, psalms, songs of lament and praise written by Sojourn Community artists in Louisville, KY. It’s a very simple design that is similar, yet distinctly different from the sojournchurch.com site. I think it’s a great resource that will serve their community well.

The second site is hollandfinancialgroup.com. Holland Financial Group is a family owned and managed practice offering financial services to individuals and business owners since 1968. These guys know their stuff and are great to work with. I would highly recommend giving them a call if you have any investment questions.

I know our site has only been down for four days, but it seems like at least five. We’re back online now, and our new site now more closely reflects what we’re doing here at the ol’ Blue Bus Cafe.

When all of this got started, I wanted to be all things to all people. A bona fide full-service ad agency. I would tell people, “yeah, we’re pretty much a full service ad agency” or “I own an ad agency,” or “look…a giraffe!” It only took me five years to realize that it wasn’t working and we needed to make some changes.

We were all tired of pretending to be something we’re not and decided to narrow our focus on what we love to do best: design great websites, develop hot logos and create beautiful pictures. So, here we are with something new. We hope you like it.
