The Original Cafe

Original Blue Bus Cafe
In the early 1940’s in Centertown, KY a man named Raymond Dick Render opened a restaurant inside a Greyhound® Silverside bus—yes, a real bus. This clever man called his restaurant Blue Bus Cafe. We imagine crowds must have come by the car-loads for a chance at dining in a booth in the cafe. Surely it was beautiful and curious site to behold. Sadly, the original cafe has since shut down. The operation closed when Raymond moved his family for a new job two hours away in Louisville.About fifty years later Blue Bus Cafe was given new life. Wanting to carry on the legacy of his great grandfather, Bowin Tichenor established a new business in graphic design under the same name.

We’re now a four-person office of creative folks working together serving fresh, made-to-order designs for Internet and print media.
