Bowin Tichenor
Posted by Blue Bus Cafe, January 16, 2006
When Bowin Tichenor was growing up in Centertown Kentucky, he was often told stories about his inventive great-grandfather, Raymond Dick Render, and the old blue bus that he turned into an operating cafe. Many years later Bowin would once again make the name of Blue Bus Cafe known, this time as a design and advertising agency devoted to helping businesses grow.
In addition to inheriting his grandfather’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit, Bowin leads Blue Bus Cafe with ten years of experience in the graphic design and advertising industry including a position at Louisville-based agency, Price Weber. In 2002, because of the overwhelming response to his creative work, Bowin left his position as Senior Graphic Designer at Southeast Christian Church to devote his full attention to Blue Bus Cafe.
Desiring more than just economic success and astounding popularity (although those are nice too), Bowin is mostly intentional about using his company’s talent as a tool to make a marked difference in his city and beyond.
He is also known in the office for his skills in serenading with the saxophone. And soon, he will probably be recognized all over the world as the creator of the fat-fighting fitness plan “Tae-Bowin.”
Of course, he wants everyone to know he wouldn’t be able to do any of this without his lovely wife Lindsey and his three adorable children, Jasper, Greta, and Auguste.
